Why are they called surgical towels?
Surgical towels are almost totally lint-free and made of 100% cotton, and used in medical offices for cleaning surgical instruments. They are extremely durable and outside of the medical area are very useful for window cleaning and general all purpose wiping. Huck towels are known to be long-lasting and very durable.
How do you wash surgical towels?
When washing the huck towels, avoid using powdered detergent or fabric softeners. It is best to wash them with liquid laundry detergent. When doing so, they will last a long time. After washing, tumble try on a low heat setting. Only to wash them with other huck towels, as terry bath towels will shed lint that may get trapped in the yarns of the huck towel.
